Massage therapists agree that following the evidence is the best way forward for our profession. Providing evidence based care is the most effective approach to support better patient outcomes. Evidence based care also provides the credibility within health care that massage therapy deserves.
Learning how to translate research evidence into practice is a difficult task. In this online mini course, you will learn:

  • Better assessments. Which ones to use and which to avoid. Being able to properly assess the shoulder and neck region is fundamental to provide better quality care. Learn how to assess and treatment plan based on clinical presentation.
  • More effective treatments. Improve your clinical reasoning. With so many different techniques and modalities out there which ones work best for neck and shoulder pain? You will learn a framework for how to best reason what technique and approach is likely to work best.
  • Meaningful self-management. Make movement and rehab relevant and fun.

What your clients do when they aren’t in your clinic is the most important part of pain management. You will learn some easy to incorporate movements and exercises.
